WHISPERS: Mantras is a series of 3D printed sculptures using collaborative immigrant vocal recordings from Roney’s expanded cinematic works, ON THE EDGE OF SELF and REFUGEE CONVERSATIONS, embodying the physical power and intimacy of a whisper, heightening our capacity to listen.

Originally produced for knowledges at the Spencer Museum of Art, as part of the Integrated Arts Research Initiative; the Mantras were funded with support by the Andy Warhol Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
