Shedspace 2004

East Atlanta Neighborhood

curator Joey Orr

This enclosed environment questioned the perception of reality by replacing the commonly associated architectural surroundings, in this case a neighborhood shed, with an illusionary column of infinity. Ultrasonic sound waves filled the space with a multi-cultural compilation of wind instruments.
Shedspace was a neighborhood art intervention program,
by curator Joey Orr, bringing installation art to the sheds
of underserved communities.
