A site-specific 3d animation for Grand Rapids, Roney explores scenery as motifs to describe the idea of cyber-intuitive reality. Cyber Tourism takes the viewer on a surreal journey through a morphing, virtual landscape. Engaging the physical relationship to the digital terrain, live camera interaction incorporates the participants’ movements onto the video surface.
