VISTA was presented at Kiang Gallery in conjunction with Genesis Trial: Johannesburg at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Georgia 2008. This solo show presented prints, filmstrips and QTVR environments expanding the 3d environment of EGOLI. Collages with documentary footage, highlight the potentialities of digital African identities and challenge the existing socioeconomic and digital divides.

Roney references Yona Friedman’s THE SPATIAL CITY in her futurist interpretations of mobile/virtual territories and the constructs of her fractal architectures rooted in African cultural patterns and mathematical migrations to computing.
